Novel Treatment Paradigms: Advances in Erectile Dysfunction Management With Phosphodiesterase Type 5 Inhibitors

PDE5 inhibitors offer more than an on-demand solution to improving patient outcomes. For example, alternative dosing regimens have been shown to prompt response in men who did not respond to on-demand doses. Furthermore, PDE5 inhibitors impart endothelial and cardiovascular benefits, and recent studies indicate that PDE5 inhibitors benefit men with lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) and benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH). This program will feature presentations that compare on-demand and scheduled dosing regimens of PDE5 inhibitors, particularly for men with comorbid conditions, as they were delivered at a satellite symposium during the 2007 American Urological Association Annual Meeting in Anaheim, California.

This educational activity is approved for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. It is available for credit through September 28, 2008.
