The goal of the Outcomes Measurement Initiative (OMI) program is to assess the educational value of the Consortium for Improvement in Erectile Function (CIEF) by receiving feedback on practice patterns from CIEF members. In phase I of the initiative, a comprehensive survey was developed to assess the educational value of the CIEF programs. The second phase consists of 11 case studies developed by CIEF members based on their clinical experience with the 3 phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors (sildenafil, tadalafil, and vardenafil).
